A money gift basket is a creative idea brought to you from Get Your Holiday On.
It was invented to put a twist on gift ideas. So cool right?!
This basket is such a unique gift that it will work fantastically for any present.

Talk about a creative way to package and surprise your loved one for a birthday or graduation gift.
It would even work for a Silent Auction, White Elephant gift, or Easter basket!
The best part is that it is so easy to make! Anyone a kid or adult could put this together quickly and surprise their recipient!
Materials You Need
Gift Basket (Find the type of gift basket I used here)
Dollar Bills (I used 20 $1 bills)
✅Putty (This removable putty works best!)
What to put in a Gift Basket

Money Gift Basket Tutorial
In this tutorial, the first thing you will use is this removable putty.
First, add a small amount (as pictured below) to the back of the dollar bills.
Next, apply pressure and stick it to the basket.
You will need to apply one dollar bill after another to take up space it would need to cover the basket. In fact, twenty $1 dollar bills will fill the type of basket I used.
Tip: Using the removable putty versus tape helps for the dollar bills not to rip when taking them off the basket.
Third, when it comes to the basket handle. Do the same thing apply the putty on the back of the dollar bill and wrap it around the handle.
In this part, you will probably need a little more putty just to tuck in the dollar bills nicely.
After that, you will want to add a crinkle-cut paper or shred filler to the basket.
For example, I used this silver filling as pictured in the picture below. It adds an added attractiveness to the display of your basket.
