How to Make a Fisherman Gift Basket
This fisherman gift basket idea is so easy to make. In just a few easy steps, you’ll be on your way to such a fabulous Christmas gift idea!
First, the first thing you need to do is find a small gift bag, add gift wrap, and then add a piece of styrofoam to the bottom.
Here is a picture to give you an idea of what I am talking about.
See how the gift bag is open? The gift wrap is placed in the bottom but coming out the top, and the styrofoam is at the bottom.
Insider tip! Save the styrofoam from previous purchases such as appliances, dolls, or other shipped items that you may have received styrofoam in. It works great for gift items such as this.
After you do steps 1, 2, and 3, you are ready to tape the candy pieces to the sucker sticks.
How to Put Chocolate Candy Bars on Sucker Sticks in a Gift Basket
What you need to do is add the chocolate candy bars to the sucker sticks.
If you are creating the gift basket just like Mrs. Claus.
You’ll need to add snack-size candy bars.
First, you’ll need to flip the candy bar over to the backside and tape the sucker stick to the back of the candy bar.
This sort of tape here worked well for me. Now, you’re ready to add the attached candy pieces to the gift basket.
When it comes to the gift card and the fishing bobbers, I keep wanting to call them fishing lures for some reason.
With both of those items. You will want to do the same thing. Flip them over and add a sucker stick and tape to the back of them also.
DIY Gift Basket for Boyfriend or Husband
After you are finished adding each of the items to the gift bag, you are finished. Your fisherman gift basket is complete!
If you decide you don’t want to use candy, you could add fishing lures, catch fish bait, spinnerbaits, treble hooks, or any other set of lures.
You could also use money, gift cards, gag gifts, beef sticks, energy bars, sports-themed items.
Complete it with a tackle box or put it in a gift bag. After that, it is all up to you!
This is just one fun way to build a fisherman gift basket for the holiday season. Good Luck! 🙂
