DIY Grinch Games for Kids and Adults
The holiday season is just around the corner, so grab a friend or team member and get ready to have some fun.
Whether you need some help fixing up the prize table or if you want to add a touch of cool to it, you can use this amazing Grinch ornament that guests will be clamoring for!
Your Christmas party is about to get underway! Get together all the Whos and get to the starting line. Get excited because we’ve created games that everyone at Whoville will want to play!
Red and Green Walk (Easy Level)
The first Grinch game will consist of walking from one area to the other.
For an example, you will need a starting line and a finish line for each player. This will keep the consistenty as well as making it a fun competition.
Put one minute on the clock and see which player could walk from one side to the other the fastest in these silly feet!
The player to cross the finish line first will win.
You’re a Mean one Mr. Gr-inch (Inermediate Level)
Tis the season for the Grinch! With this game idea, you will need to do a similiar walk as with the Red and Green Walk game.
However, taking this game to another level. In fact, feel free to use this game with a small or large group.
As well as, play indoor or outdoor.
To step it up you will need to use these ball pit balls. Just like with this idea!
As a result, this minute to win it grinch game is really easy to play.
What you will need to do after you’re finished making the feet, add tape to the Grinches face, as well as, the heart. You could choose to do as many as you’d like 5, 8, 10. We just picked a random number!
However, you will want to use this tape here. It sticks pretty well.
Next, you will add plastic balls (from a ball pit) to the tape.
For each new player, we added new tape. Again, that worked well for us.
Each player has the same starting and stopping points.
Player 1 will go to the start line. He or She will put the Grinch face and heart on their feet.
After the whistle blows. Player 1 will walk as fast or funny as they can within a minute to the finish line.
Each participant will need to keep as many balls on their feet as possible.
In like fashion, each player will have their turn at this great Grinch walk. The person with the most remaining balls on their characters at the end of the game will win a prize.
Stink Stank Stick (Highest Level)
You know on the Grinch movie where he says, “he’s going to lay in bed, stare at the ceiling and slip slowly into madness?”
Yeah, don’t do that. LOL.
With this game… you will need a lot of concentration. It is a bit tricky but between the kids and adults that played this game. Everyone was laughing and getting competetive!
There’s no hiring the grinch himself to do this. Nope, you just have to impersonate, lol.
First, when you feel like all of whoville is watching you balance all of the ball pit balls on one foot without them falling off. It sure does get a bit tricky.
Here are the rules.
Place ball pit balls all over the characters for example on the grinch’s face and on the heart without tape.
However, you will still need tape on them just nothing stuck to the tape yet. Here I will show you an example of what I mean so that doesn’t get confusing.
Hopefully, that is a little easier to understand.
The reason you will do this is to balance the balls on the board or in this case the heart or on the grinch face. When doing this you will use one foot at a time.
After sliding your foot into the duct tape area you will pick that same foot (whether it is the left or right foot) and balance as many balls on the board as possible. Without the balls falling off.
The player to get any of the balls or the most amount to stick to the tape wins the stink, stank, stick game.
