What is an adult Easter egg hunt?
In spring, create an event just for adults to bring people together. Of course, they love participating in events, too, so make an event that’s just for them. In my opinion, ADULT EGG HUNTS are exactly like kid hunts, but with added coolness. With these fabulous ideas for grownups, you’ll understand why they’re that much cooler!
Egg Hunt for Couples
You will need to choose a color for each adult. Then, include love notes or treats for your spouse in that color! Fill the eggs with coupons, things you would like to try in the bedroom, or sweets. Compliments can also work wonders and make your partner feel special.

CHECK PRICEWeekend Egg Hunt
Weekend egg hunts will require a smaller group, your family, or your significant other to participate. In this hunting session, you will not have your typical egg fillers since you will need to place items in the eggs that you will need to be doing over the weekend.
This could include movie tickets, things you will do with your partner in the bedroom, or even a gift card to your favorite store. Of course, you will have to do everything found in the eggs during the same weekend for fun. This does undoubtedly give the experience a unique flavor!
Date Night Egg Hunt
Get out the whipped cream and the candles because you’re about to have a whole new date night experience. This Date night egg hunt includes clues, prizes, and jello shots! Stuff those plastic eggs with sexy notes, hidden secrets, or alcohol. The bedroom is where it’s at!
Easter Egg Hunt for Adults: A Charity Event
What better way to get the crowd excited and willing to spend their hard-earned money than to support a local charity event? This is a great way to raise money for a fundraiser and do something unique in the spring!
Senior Egg Hunts
Senior citizens go goofy over egg hunts too! If you want to do something out of the ordinary for your community, put on an egg hunt for seniors! Hunters typically conduct hunts in their late twenties to early sixties. However, the elderly population can get involved as well, and they will have a blast. All they need are bunny ears, a flashlight, and a bag, and they’re a wild bunch!
Hunt for Money Eggs
Don’t just fill eggs with Easter candy – put money inside them instead. For example, you might wish to round up the spare change and use small bills such as 1s, 5s, and 10s. Then, make your golden egg more wonderful by using a higher bill!
Glow in the Dark Egg Hunt
Get the whole family involved in an adult Easter challenge by stuffing glow-in-the-dark Easter eggs with treats people will love. Have siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins all fill fun eggs before they come over and have a glow in the dark Easter egg hunt. You won’t even believe what you’ll see in the dark!
Flashlight Easter EGG Hunt
You will hunt for eggs under the stars with a flashlight! This hunt is entirely dark, so you should make sure that there is no room for error and that there are no holes in the ground before starting. Then, turn on those flashlights and go to town!
Egg Tag Hunt
It certainly puts a unique spin on Easter egg hunting with kids running after the decorated shirts full of eggs! I’m already seeing hilarious funny videos of adult people chasing a dad bod full of Easter eggs.
This hairy dad bod shirt can also be filled with eggs, and people will run after it for hilarious pictures!
Color Coded Egg Hunt
It is possible to do a color-coded egg hunt, in which each player in the scavenger hunt activity is assigned a color. This works great for small groups, but if you have a large group, it can still be done if you create teams. I recommend picking out a portion of the winning eggs before each member opens the egg.
Easter Egg Hunt Backwards
The kids should handle this one! Give the kids the freedom to design the egg hunt. Watching the adults find the Easter eggs one by one will be a big hit with children. It will no doubt make them laugh after the epic egg hunt you do first for the kids!
DIY Egg Popper Tree
This would be a fun, creative twist on a spring event to make an egg popper tree DIY with all kinds of fun prizes inside!
Girls Just Want to Have Fun Egg Hunt
The host can put this idea into action by asking every female guest to bring a new pair of thongs, cute underwear, nail polish, and anything girly that they wish to fill an egg with. I would even make all the eggs pink or stylish for added cuteness and fun as an added touch!
Lego Fan Egg Hunt
You don’t have to let the kids have all the fun with legos, build the one and only Easter Bunny out of lego pieces hidden inside eggs. It makes a great activity at a family gathering or a date night idea for Lego fans!
How to Make Boozy Easter Eggs
Did you know that Easter eggs with booze are trending like hot cocoa bombs! They are becoming a unique spin to adult easter egg hunts. I recently had a friend text me and ask me if they sell booze Easter eggs near me? So I let her know that you can make boozy eggs cheap and easy with this helpful tutorial.
What you need
Mini Bottles of Liquor (Check Amazon’s mini bottles price here!)
Basket Filler
Using a large plastic egg is the most common method. This type of egg works best with mini alcohol bottles or mini vodka bottles with different flavors, etc.
The next step involves opening the egg, inserting crinkle paper or basket filler inside, and then laying the bottle of alcohol over the grass.
If desired, you can add jelly beans or robbin eggs. To finish, place the items inside and close the egg. This will make such a cute boozy easter egg!
Second, you can play a prank or a joke on the egg hunter. Finally, to make opening the egg more difficult for an adult, it has a tightly sealed shell.
For this idea, we wrapped colorful cable ties around the adult egg. People laughed when they saw it.
Boozy Carrot Beer
Another way you could hand out beer at your adult egg hunt is to make boozy carrot beers.
This very simple idea is great for guys! Guys tend to like to go for the beer more than the ladies. However, we found they love to run for the eggs too.
Therefore, a fun way of hiding beer at an adult egg hunt is in the grass or displayed in a fun way in the backyard.
Plus, adults are running around playing a scavenger hunt with clues or participating in an egg hunt finding hidden beers. These are priceless moments for social media pictures, videos, or memories with family or friends.
Lastly, to make carrot beer. All you need to do is buy carrot bags, turn the beers upside down, and put them inside the bag.
After that, you will add a green pipe cleaner or carrot ribbon to help keep it closed.
Now you have a boozy carrot beer or an Easter party favor for adults!
Adult Easter Bag Fillers
Lastly, we will add these Bunny favors to our how to make adult Easter egg hunt list!
Fill the brown paper bags with easter eggs, candy, and miniature alcohol or egg jello shots.
The best part is these bunny bags make a fun addition to your Easter egg hunt. You could use them for prizes, organize them as part of the easter egg hunt for adults in hidden areas, or add clues inside for the players to rip open when they get started on a scavenger hunt. Then, the sky is the limit.
