First of all, what is one of the most fun things about Halloween? In our household, we would say Halloween games! It’s pretty awesome when you can pretend your one of the Ghostbusters out on the town.
In fact, if you’ve seen our Bigfoot game. Then, you obviously know we love weird, different, and FUN!
That’s why a twist on a Ghost hunt is exactly what we all need this Fall.
First, find what you’ll need for this ghostly game!
What You Will Need
What is a Ceiling Halloween Ghost Hunt
Who doesn’t enjoy creating new childhood memories. Especially during the holidays! See I am a mom and foster mom that loves brightening my kiddos day. I love doing things out of the ordinary and coming up with cool game ideas for kids and adults.
Don’t scream lol but this game is one of my favorites! You get to use a Nerf gun and knock down fake ghosts. It’s seriously so much fun!
Ghostbusters Party Game
This is what you will need to do. First, grab those white Easter eggs. Second, take your black marker and draw ghost-like faces on them. As pictured below.
Ghost face’s are really easy to draw. In fact, you could draw all of the faces the same or different. Either way is totally up to your creative skills. 🙂
Fill your eggs with anything from candy, party favors, trinkets, to paper numbers to win a prize. I suggest everyone wear safety glasses for when the kids knock down the eggs.
Tip: When you are putting the eggs together, you will want to tape them shut.
After that, use the removable putty to hang them on the ceiling. Then prepare for the fun and laughter to begin!
How to Play a Minute to Win it Ghost Game
Start your timer and put 60 seconds on the clock! Allow each player the full minute to knock down as many ghosts as they can from the ceiling. Keep track of the players and how many ghosts are knocked down within the time allotted. Whoever has the most ghosts down within a minute wins.
The second option is to hide them throughout the house. This could include the ceilings, walls, and anywhere else you may decide. Allow the same amount “minute to win it” or five minutes for added time and extra fun.
Try this game with family, friends, and party guests alike! Play it at a fall party, in the autumn, October or November, in your living room or at Scouts. Either way, this Ceiling Halloween Ghost Hunt guaranteed for a fun time! Doing something out of the ordinary! Good Luck! 🙂
