We had a fun birthday weekend playing this hilarious alien party game! As a matter of fact! Kids and Adults both thought this game is out of this world!
Ever think about treating the kids to something unusual? For example, have you spotted a “UFO sighting” in your area? There is something about the fun and adventure of spaceships and foreign creatures roaming the earth.
Okay, at least for the moment we can pretend it’s cool right?
This is where having a space themed party and dressing up a gigantic alien with all sorts of candy comes into play!
As you can tell around these parts, we love doing out of the ordinary! Not only is it strange. But it’s fun. For example, have you had a chance to check out one of our favorite game ideas here!
Hilarious Alien Party Game
Our favorite thing about this hilarious alien party game is that we figured it would make a great addition to alien party games for kids, alien birthday party games, or UFO/Space themed game ideas.
It’s what this world needs right? Or at least in a fun and creative DIY household. 🙂
First, I have to tell you when I seen this 5ft Alien in person I couldn’t believe how gigantic and real it looked!
Materials Needed
Tape
Prize Novelties
If you are ready to jump on board and create a hilarious Alien that every party and planet needs then read on. We will share with you how to do that below!
First, you will need to inflate the alien. It took me about 10 – 15 minutes to inflate the entire earthling. An air pump would be very beneficial lol.
Second, after the martian is inflated. Proceed to lay it down flat on the ground and add the candy, prizes, and novelty items to the extraterrestrial with tape or sticky putty.
The sticky putty works with some items but you will need to use a good amount. The tape worked the best for my needs.
However, I suggest folding it over like double-stick tape to add the items. It’s easier for the kids to take the goodies off the alien while running.
Outer Space Activities
After your alien is covered in treats! He or she will be ready. What you will need to do is pick one person to be the alien. This could be an older child or an adult. It’s sort of like a moving pinata, minus the blindfolded child aimlessly swinging a stick.
While that may be entertaining at times it can be a little painful for those that can not get out-of-the-way fast enough. lol
This game adds an element of entertainment that is a little different.
Each kid will have an opportunity to chase the person holding the Alien. They will have to grab as many prizes off as possible. The player with the most candy or treats wins! Have fun!
