What is a Candy Cane Hunt Game?
The elves hid all of Santa’s candy canes, and the North Pole needs your help to find them all for Santa!
Depending on where you are from, you may use real candy canes, but we played this in our backyard. Unfortunately, we had to change it up a bit due to the frozen ground.
But you could also choose to play this indoor instead of outdoor.
Christmas Games for Kids and Adults
To make this Christmas candy cane hunt, you will need to arrange the candy canes throughout the yard or indoor playspace.
Next, (optional) add one minute to the timer and say GO! This will make it a Minute to Win It Candy Cane Game.
Each player will pick up as many candy canes (or green candy canes for a grinch candy cane hunt) as possible before the clock hits zero!
The participant with the most amount of candy canes collected for Santa wins!
Players will wait with excitement to line up for their turn. Play again and again.
Tip: Add a special sticker or wrap gold ribbon around some of the candy canes and let the kids redeem the special candy canes for prizes.
