- I’m an idiot. You’re an idiot!
- Stop the Grinch! He’s trying to steal the Christmas tree! Save Whoville!!

In fact, those lines inspired me to create this DIY!
However, if you are unfamiliar with the story or grinch movie let me share a little bit about that with you really quick!
The story is about a grumpy grinchster that goes on a mission to steal Christmas. In fact, he goes as far as to steal toys, Christmas trees, and even lights!
With help from a little girl named Cindy Lou Who the Grinch was able to have a change of heart and in return, saves Christmas for all of Whoville.

The perfect way to show your grinch side is to make a silly craft using his face.
“Did I have a crush on the Grinch? Of COURSE not.” -Martha May Whovier
What you will need to do is trace and cut the Grinch out of the green poster board. I personally just eyeballed it.
Next, you will use that green poster board and trace the cardboard with it.
After that, you will need to use the black marker, acrylic markers, and you’ll need to draw the eyes and face onto the green posterboard.
Lastly, to finish the craft you will need to glue everything together. We personally used duct tape to glue it together. However, you could also do it the way we show here as well.
After that the Grinches craft part is ready.
Now, we choose to use one grinch and one heart for each craft as you see below.
As a matter of fact, you will see why we chose to different patterns coming up.
It’s the best part and the fun part!
The above image is of the heart from when the Grinch returned all of the gifts.
This craft was made into a red heart to resemble that.
Again, we just cut it out of the carboard poster board and traced the cardboard and put them together using duct tape but you could also use hot glue as well.
After that, you will need to attach matching duct tape for each craft. This is including the Grinch face as well as the heart.
Then, you place the tape on each board.
Next, you will have the child or adult slide their feet into the craft as in the picture below.
Now, you could be finished with the craft in its entirety and just walk around with silly Grinch feet or take it a step further with our Grinch Party Games!
