Super Easy Fingerprint Christmas tree Craft DIY
The best part is all you need are a few simple items.
- Green Finger Paint (Check Amazon’s Price here!)
- Pom Poms
- Colored Pencils
- Yellow Acrylic Paint (optional)
- White Construction Paper
Lets get started!
First, you will need green finger paint. The child (or person building the tree) will need to put the green paint on either one hand or both.
Tip: In fact, using one hand for the whole tree will make it a lot easier for cleanup!
Two hand prints will go next to each other and then one above. As shown in the picture below.
After that, allow the tree to dry.
Next, you will need to draw the tree stomp. For this, you could use a colored pencil, crayon, or marker.
As well as, for the tree top. We used acrylic paint to make the star.
It only takes a few moments for it to dry and then you’ll be on the fun part.
In fact, the fun part is decorating the craft! With that said, it is decorating the Christmas tree however you shall choose.
We personally used colored pom poms and put them all over the tree. You’re welcome to paint ornaments, tinsel, or Christmas lights.
You could even take it a step further and add toys for underneath the tree.
My toddler son kept saying he wanted to put a deer on the tree, lol.
With that said, we stuck to the pom poms this time! However, there is so much creativity and fun with this toddler or preschool activity that is so easy for little kids!
