Pumpkin Game
Have you ever heard of the little pumpkin game? It is a “Not so spooky” activity to play! It reminds me of an Easter Egg hunt only a pumpkin hunt. Toddlers and little kids will enjoy playing this game indoors or outdoors. A fun minute to win it game that the kiddos will love and be entertained by!
A little background… I am a mom and also a foster mom. I always love coming up with DIY crafts and activities that can bring smiles to my kids’ faces especially on a rainy day. For example, this funny foot game and our Superhero activities! The inspiration for this pumpkin game today was for a little one that was recently placed with us. It is so easy to play!

How to Play The Little Pumpkin Game
Before your toddler gets up from their nap hide balls like these around the living room. You could choose a fall color pattern or any sort of color you like. Ask your child to grab their bucket and get ready for the pumpkin game. Give your child 1 minute to start and see how many balls they can find. Next, rehide the balls or decide to see how long it takes them to find the rest.
The nice thing about this game is you don’t have to only play it for Halloween. You could play this in your free time for a toddler game, preschool classroom game, and more.
A neat idea is to create your own little pumpkin patch. Use a black marker and color faces on the balls before you hid them. Another idea is to allow your child to draw the faces on the pumpkins (sort of like carving the pumpkins) only in a little different way.
Wrapping Up
Build a pumpkin patch in your living room and watch your child try to find the Jack O’ Lanterns before the time runs out. Such an entertaining way to have fun!

That is such a cute game. I’ll have to keep this in mind to do this around Halloween. I know my niece and nephews would really love to do this.

This is very cute and very appropriate for smaller kids. It doesn’t make sense that they get rather scared than having fun on Halloween. Great inspiration.
