Happy LAST DAY of School
Every year we love to close out the school year with a Happy LAST DAY of School celebration.
I’m so proud of these kiddos and of all their hard work this year.
Moving on up from Kindergarten, 3rd grade, and 6th grade.
I think we are all ready for summer break (even me!) LOL.
What You Will Need To Create A Celebration
Signs
Woot Lets get started!
LAST DAY of School Celebration
Another school year has ended and all I wanted to do was celebrate with my little reader, an amazing artist, and mathematician.
This year when my 6th grader got off the school bus.
I had a Welcome To Summer sign posted on the door waiting for her and my other kids when they got home too.
After my daughter opened the door I shouted with joy and gave her a lei.
She loved it! It was simple, fun, and thoughtful.
Parent Pick Up Surprise
However, since my other two children don’t get off school until 3:30.
We gathered our things together and took the other two lei’s to the school to surprise them.
We picked them up from school by parent pick up.
It was funny because they were like peace out to this school year and hello to summer!
That day, I was full of mom surprises… instead of heading home. I headed right for Speedway.
Little did they know that they were in for a treat!
Tip: Right now Speedway has their Freezies (Slushies) any size for $.79. Of course with it being the last day of school we took full advantage of that any size cup, lol.
What are your summer plans… Swimming, fishing, the beach?
Have you found your pool float yet?!?!
This one here is sooooo cool! The kids are going to flip when they see it!
End of the School Year Celebration
On the last day of school. I like to go all the fun mom crazy!
If you haven’t seen my prior years post go here for more ideas!
We had buckets full of water balloons, squirt guns, and summer plans waiting for when we got home! I mean it’s time for summer vacation and boy were we looking forward to it. 🙂
The kids couldn’t wait to dig into these water balloons.
The best part was chasing their dad and me all over the backyard, lol.
Of course, the kids were thrilled and we were totally soaked.
Another little something-something we did for the kids was grabbed these super cool cups for a fun dinner surprise.
We also grabbed a pizza and this movie here!
Wrapping Up
It doesn’t matter if your kid in Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade, 3rd Grade, 4th Grade, 5th Grade, 6th Grade, 7th Grade, 8th Grade, 9th Grade, 10th Grade, 11th Grade, 12th Grade, or even a college student.
Who doesn’t love wrapping up the school year with a Happy Last Day of School Fun?
I hope these ideas help inspire some fun for you and your family!
Thanks for stopping in and checking out our day.
If you want to see the coolest thing we did that day… you will have to go here!
It was soooooo much fun and HILARIOUS to play!
