Learn how to make glitter slime in just a few easy steps!
Easy Slime Recipes for Kids
For weeks my daughter has talked about wanting to make glitter slime.
Since homeschool has started we’ve made other art projects.
However, making slime with glitter sounded like a lot of mess. However, to my surprise, it’s not! Yay!
In fact, my favorite go-to place to find the best tutorials is Pinterest! On, the best social platform out there (for moms) lol. I saw a great tutorial from Chicacircle.
All we needed three easy ingredients and luckily we already had them on hand.✅
Materials Needed
- Borax (found in the laundry aisle) or you may find here.
- Glitter Glue (I found our glue at Walmart and Target) or there is NEON glitter glue here.
- Warm Water
Tip: If you don’t have any glitter glue on hand. Another recommendation is to mix glitter and glue together.
How to Make Glitter Slime
First, in a large disposable bowl empty one full bottle of the glitter glue
Second, mix 1 tsp of Borax into 1 cup of warm water until Borax is dissolved
Third, pour the mixture into the bowl with the glitter glue and stir slowly
After that, grab the glitter glue with your hands and knead it together until the slime reaches the perfect consistency.
Lastly, you are finished. It was very easy slime to make right?
We have found that this type of slime is a lot easier to make than we thought.
Next, my daughter wants to try to conquer some of these fun slime ideas! Plus, edible slime too! Have you ever made slime that you can eat?
We haven’t tried it yet but it sure sounds like a lot of fun!
