I have been trying to figure out the surprise last day of school treat for my kids. I must tell you this idea is sooo easy to do. You’re going to love how simple and easy it is to put together! 

Now, granted this is no surprise trip to Disney World or a fun-filled trip to Disneyland but what it is… is a super sugary treat filled with all sorts of yumminess that the kids will go wild over… literally! 

Alligator Surprise Cookie Treat

Recently, I have been soooo busy! We have three children of our own and are also taking care of an adorable little toddler. That makes a total of four energy filled kiddos for us. So I haven’t baked anything this cool… yet. Plus, I must say my baking skills would seriously probably end me up on the TV show “Nailed it!” LOL

Where to Find The Stuffed Cookie

Nope. This bad boy was bought from a grocery store called Giant Eagle. I was at the store not for this delicious treat but actually picking up a piece of sliced cake from the bakery. Every now and then my husband and I will share a piece of cake after the kiddos go to bed. Just to have a little “date time” and unwind. It’s fun and relaxing! 

Well, today was one of those days where I was majorly craving that cake. So while I was grocery shopping. I stopped at the bakery and spotted these super fun stuffed cookies. Of course, I had to get them! 

That’s when the perfect idea popped into my head. How awesome would this be for a Surprise Last Day of School Treat?!    

How to Make The Surprise Last Day of School Treat

Surprise Last Day of School Treat is super easy to make. Like lazy hot mess mom, but super fun mom at the same time easy!  😉 FYI if you’re looking for healthier snack options you may want to check out these Fruit Pizza Crackers or these healthy Apple Donuts. Both ideas give a healthier version of a super fun snack idea… just in case.  😉 

Okay, what you will need to do is go to the bakery at your local grocery store. You may even luck out at the Walmart bakery. Look for awesome icing stuffed cookies.

There were about 5 different styles at my store. That included an alligator, monster with crazy hair, bumble bee, baseball, and a flower. I picked the alligator and crazy haired monsters for my kids. The brighter, more fun, the better I thought. 

Next, you will print out this last day of school free printable here. I cut out the shape because it looks cooler on the cookie don’t you think? After that, you will take a straw. This could be a leftover straw from Mickey D’s restaurant. 

You will then need to tape the Happy Last Day of School sign on to the straw. Lastly, place the straw holding the sign in the back part of the cookie treat. It will turn out just like this! How awesome is that?! Amazingly CUTE, FUN, and total awesomeness!
