For weeks my daughter has come home from school talking about slime. It's the “fun thing” to play with and share at school. After looking around on Pinterest I seen a great tutorial from Chicacircle to use with three easy ingredients. I thought it would be fun for my kids to try. Not only was it really easy to make but it looks really cool when it's done.
What you will need:
Borax (found in the laundry aisle) or you may find here.
Glitter Glue (I found our glue at Walmart and Target) or there is NEON glitter glue here.
HOW TO MAKE THE SLIME:
1. In a large disposable bowl empty one full bottle of the glitter glue
2. Mix 1 tsp of Borax into 1 cup of warm water until Borax is dissolved
3. Pour the mixture into the bowl with the glitter glue and stir slowly
4. Grab the glitter glue with your hands and knead it together until the slime reaches the perfect consistency.
The finished product and the kids love it!
We also bought cute little containers to stick the Glitter Slime in for fun.
Each of the containers were bought from Hobby Lobby the small ones were $1.29 each and the bigger one was $3.99. Hobby Lobby often offers a coupon in the paper or at the top right corner of their website. The coupon is usually 40% off click here to go to the Hobby Lobby website.
