Last Day of School Ideas for Parents
Looking for the last day of school ideas for parents? If you’re one of those super fun moms that love to make special occasions that much more fun for your kids. Here are some fantastic ideas to help make your kiddos last day of school extra fun!
First, a brilliant idea is to break out that silly string!
Find gobbles of assorted colored silly string here!
A fun idea is to use a picture of your child’s first day of school. Put it into a frame or (print it out) and have your son or daughter hold it up on the last day of school.
It’s absolutely astonishing to see how much they’ve changed. It’s like how do they change so much in such a short amount of time?
There has to be a time thief, lol.
This last day of school idea also works for graduating seniors and using their Kindergarten pictures. Photo credit to Sevynerzra Photography who captured this moment perfectly!
This year we are saying goodbye to Kindergarten, 3rd grade, and 6th grade.
What grades is your family saying goodbye to?
If your son or daughter is getting ready to graduate from high school?
A really fun idea would be to have a Sweatshirt to the college they’ll be attending and a graduation cap surprise waiting for them when they get home.
Check out this awesome idea on FenzyMe that will have your teen speechless!

Easy Last Day of School Ideas
My kids love having a movie night with mom and dad. Invite your kids to have a Movie and PJ party idea!
They grab their favorite blanket, PJs, and snacks.
It’s always fun to stay up late and have a movie night!
An extra fun idea would be to have brand new pajamas waiting for them when they get off the bus or go to the store and pick some out after school.
Kid Surprise Bucket
Going to the beach this summer? Spending time outdoors? Maybe going to the park or playing in the sand?
However, you’d like to celebrate summer coming!
You could create a fun surprise for the kids by filling a bucket full of things that could help entertain them for summer.
For example, some of the ideas you may want to include could be:
• Bubbles
• Squirt Guns
• Sidewalk Chalk
• Glow-n-the-Dark Accessories
• Sand Toys
What would you put in their summer bucket?
Mom to Mom
It is so easy to make the last day of school sign.
For example, this sign was made out of mail packaging paper and markers & paint.
I grabbed the colorful foam circles from the Dollar Tree and used this reusable sticky putty to hang them on the wall.
Tip: FYI Mom to Mom I LOVE the sticky putty. I use it ALL the time. It works like a charm for all sorts of things, projects, and doing stuff on a whim.
It’s great so if you ever see it out or find it on sale. Grab some… you’ll be thankful you did! 😉

This is so thoughtful and fun! As a teacher, we always tag parents and say, “you’re it!” I used to think that was funny BEFORE I had kids. Now I’m it!! Haha! I love the idea of taking a last day photo, along with a summer bucket of goodies. Happy Summer!
