How to Make a Candy Santa Sleigh
Supplies Needed per Sliegh
- 2 Hershey Kisses
- 2 mini Kit Kat Bars (Find a great Chocolate Candy Assortment here!)
- 4 Silver Dollar Candies
- 1 3 Musketeer
- Mini Chocolate Santa (or snowman)
- 2 mini Krackel bars
- Hot Glue Gun
A Candy mix is the most ideal when working on your sleigh made out of candy.
The classic candy assortment typically includes candy bars, chocolate bars, a miniature Santa Claus, and sometimes candy canes too.
We didn’t choose to use candy canes this time but here is a fun activity to do with candy canes.
Plus, you could always use these candy Santa Sleighs for movie night at home while watching holiday classics!
Chocolate Candy Sleighs
Step 1: Once you have the candy separated to make your first sleigh. You will need to glue the two miniature KitKats together using a hot glue gun. This will make the base for your sleigh.
Step 2: After the base of the sleigh is made. Next, you will want to build your seat for Santa, the steering wheel, and the back part of the sleigh. To build this part you will need to glue a Krackel bar to each end of the 3 Musketeer bar.
While you’re waiting for it to dry you could play this game with Christmas bows!
Step 3: You will then need to add the four silver dollars to the base. You will need two on each side. This will become the wheels.
Step 3: Next, you will need to place the seat by gluing it on top of the kit kat.
Step 4: Place both Hershey kisses on top along with the man himself… Santa Claus!
This could be used for a teacher gift, a small gift idea for a co-worker, or even a cool prize idea!
