You don’t need the zoo instructor to learn how to make this pink flamingo craft! We show you how to create beach crafts, flamingo crafts, and duct tape crafts. This will be in one flamingo arts and crafts project.
The Best Pink Flamingo Craft
Feeling tropical and want to make a craft that will make your kids smile! We have you covered with this DIY flamingo craft idea!
My cousin’s birthday is coming up, and she wants nothing more than to celebrate it with flamingos everything from the cake to the decor!
It sounds like a flock of a celebration, doesn’t it?!🦩
Inspired by our other crafts… especially the big giant feet from this game.
We’ve added fun to the center to make you feel tropical.

Googly Eyes
Yarn
Tape
Flamingo Craft Ideas
First, grab your cardboard. I used this exact cardboard here.
Second, I used a pencil and drew two flamingo-shaped birds on two 24″ x 18″ cards.
I included the following on our flamingo craft…
- Head
- Beak
- Long Neck
- Body
- Feathers
- Feet
Third, I cut it out using my fancy new scissors to cut cardboard easier.
After that, I applied pink duct tape to the bird’s front. Also, just in case, it took me a roll and half of duct tape to cover both flamingos.
Tip: You could always make the birds smaller, so you have enough tape with one roll.
After that, I added one googly eye to help it look more realistic.
I drilled four holes in each of the cardboard flamingos to complete the project.
Then, I added a white string for the feet to slide through it easily.
For example, in the picture below.
Lastly, I tied knots on the flamingo’s backside to help hold the string in place. This idea worked great for our spider feet too!
Beach Crafts
A flamingo fan will love walking or posing in these adorable picture-worthy pink flamingo feet from younger children to grown adults!
Enjoy posing with them in the backyard like with our T-Rex game, inside the house, or take the silly craft anywhere flamingos on your feet are allowed.

Conclusion
It’s pretty safe to say that you wouldn’t typically see people walking with flamingos attached to their feet.
But… that’s the best part! We love crafts that are outside the norm!
As you know, as a mom and foster mom creating fun like tropical birds on your feet can not only brighten the kiddo’s spirits on an off day, but it can make other people smile as they walk by too.
