Amazon Prime Fee Increase Is It Worth It

Did you hear that Amazon is raising its yearly membership fee? This increase will happen starting May 11, 2018. The increase will be from $99 to $119 per year. This will be a 20% increase in prime membership fees. 

Renew Your Membership Before Amazon Increases Its Fee

I currently have an Amazon Prime Membership. I absolutely love it! I buy almost everything I online shop for at Amazon. It’s got almost everything I need.

I am not very thrilled about the increase though. However, I do still plan to renew my membership before it goes up. Do you have an existing Amazon Prime Membership? If so, you have until June 16th to renew before your membership will have the effective increase to $119.

The Conclusion of Amazon Prime Fee Increase

Are you undecided if you want to pay the increase for your Amazon Prime Membership? I’m not too fond of the price increase. However, I do think the benefits outweigh itself. I love the Free 2-Day shipping.

For example, If I have a birthday for a family member or a friend that sneaks up on me… Amazon is like my best friend. I can get their gift right on the website. I typically can find exactly what they’re looking for or I will find something really cool to give them. Then, I will have the gift item in 2 days or less. I love that!

I have tried to go without having the Prime membership in the past to see if it was worth it. I figured since Amazon will still ship for free with a $25 order. That it would be fine. I didn’t find as many good deals it seemed like and the shipping was really slow! It wasn’t worth it to me. Plus, I almost missed having a gift for another birthday that snuck up on me, lol.
