Activities for Family Bonding
As a mom and foster mom. I’d like to help you through obstacles of parenthood by helping you find ways to bond with your son or daughter.
First, do you realize that there are tons of people that struggle to bond with their kids everyday?
According to the NYpost there was a study done and out of 2000 parents, only 45 minutes a weekday was being spent together as a family.
With more parents working these days and crazy busy schedules. I can see why that’s happening.
However, planning time to do activities as a family, playing games, or going out to a movie is important.
Furthermore, as you can tell there are so many fun ways to bond with your kiddos. In addition, just know that they want to bond with you just as much as you want to bond with them.
In fact, if it’s hard to find the time to spend try starting off with walking the dog together or a game of cards.
Also, if you are a foster mama, be sure to check out the freebies post I listed. Likewise, it’s an awesome way to find freebies and discounts for foster families.
If you’re not a foster family that is totally okay. Perhaps if you know a foster family it’s a great opportunity to share it on Facebook with them. For instance, it is an awesome and free gesture to tell them Thank you for opening their hearts and their homes! 🙂
Finally, I hope that some of these ideas will help. If you’ve made it to the bottom of this post. Just know that you’re not alone. There are so many families that struggle bonding.
I am proud of you for searching for ways to connect. You are a rockstar for holding your family together and finding ways to bond. I wish you all the best!
