You won’t believe how easy it is to make this Tie DIY background! Learn how to make a tie dye tutorial using a table cloth and hippie photo props that your guests will enjoy at your next party!
Tie Dye Background DIY Tutorial
We love tie dying shirts, food, and parties! For example, with tie dye food ideas, we made Mickey-shaped food and Spinach and artichoke dip! How cool is that?
This time we are going to show you how easy it is for a tie dye background at your party!
First, you will need a yellow tablecloth. We recommend hanging it up and then using scissors and cutting it from the floor to the ceiling to create strips of the table cloth.
After that part is finished that is all you will need to do with the table cloth.
Second, we used poster board and cut out flowers.
Third, we picked up some hippie photo props and hung them on the curtain. This creates a really cool background for 70’s pictures or a great idea for a background for the food table.
When utilizing this idea, it only cost $1 from the dollar tree for the curtain, a couple of dollars at the dollar tree for poster board, and then finding the hippie photo props!
If you can’t find photo props try making tie dye with sharpies. That would be a great alternative.
Other alternatives to make your own tie dye would be the following ideas:
- homemade tie dye
- DIY bleach tie dye
- reverse tie dying
- DIY tie dye food coloring
- white t shirts for tie dying
This idea was great for our party and budget-friendly. It worked perfectly behind our food table, and guests could use it to take pictures also.
We hope you get inspiration for your next get-together using this fun idea!
