Magic of Lights Review
Our Magic of Lights Review! The kids were waiting for this all week-long to go to the Magic of Lights. All they knew was that on Thursday we would go and see Christmas lights. What they didn’t know is how magical the experience would be.
Thursday came and when my youngest two children got off the school bus. My oldest daughter and I had these LED light bulb glowing necklaces waiting for them. As they were in the process of stepping off the bus. The other kids on the bus were waving and saying, “Wow! Neat!” My daughter and I were waving back. After crossing the street, my son and daughter came running to us with excitement. It was finally the night we were going to see Christmas lights. Yay!
Later that evening we packed our van and headed on our way. As we approached the exit 152 off of I-80, we could already start to see the Christmas lights. It made my kids filled with even more excitement.
When we arrived for premiere night and checked in. There were two ladies there to greet us and handed my children these light-up Christmas necklaces which were really neat too! It made my kids glow even more.
Then, the first place we visited was to see Santa’s reindeer Comet. Oh, my kids were tickled pink! Of course, as they were talking to Comet my son spotted Santa through the window and was practically jumping in his boots.
Right before we went into the building to go see Santa… Slider from The Cleveland Indians came out to greet the kids. He gave them a high-five and was sweet and took a picture with them.
Truly A Magical Experience
Once we went inside we got to see Santa and Mrs. Claus. There wasn’t a long wait to see Santa so the kids got to tell him what they wanted right away. Of course, they didn’t want to waste any time. :0)
There were all sorts of goodies waiting to be shared including Jack Frost donuts from the Christmas Story house. Also, set up was a hot chocolate station. There were so many snacks and goodies we didn’t get a chance to see them all.
After that, it was time to turn the lights on. We were invited up to a viewing up on the rooftop and watched as we counted down to the Christmas Lights turning on. It was magical. There was 1000’s of lights that glistened all over the grounds. My husband, children, and I were in awe of it all.
Lastly, we drove through the lights. We were amazed at how many lights and roads there. Each path had magic and animation in the lights. I especially loved that they added in a beautiful nativity scene to honor Jesus’s birth. That made my heart feel good. 🙂 My other favorite part was the light tunnel. That is a treat! The entire experience was really neat, fun, and enjoyable. We would definitely go back!

There’s something magical about Christmas lights! They’re even more exciting to see when it’s snowed, and the lights reflect off the snow.
