The Best Frozen Easter Eggs
It is so easy to make frozen Easter eggs! The biggest thing you’ll need is enough space in your freezer.
Tip: If the weather is cold enough you may be able to set the container outside and use Mother Nature to help you out!

Step 1: The first thing you will need to do is fill a plastic container up about a 1/2 inch to an inch. I just eyeballed it. After that I put a handful of plastic Easter eggs inside. I set it in the freezer for 2 hours.
Step 2: After two hours the water will start to freeze. I personally opened the freezer and added more eggs to the container. We just pushed through the ice that was starting to form within those two hours.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get a picture of the eggs after the two hours. We got distracted playing the ceiling egg hunt!
However, I did add another handful of eggs at that time and one golden egg that I put in the middle.
I let those eggs continue to freeze and about 6 hours later I checked on them.
Step 3: After that, I flipped the eggs over in the container leaving the ice at the top and the eggs frozen into the ice and added cold water, and filled the container most of the way full. I let it freeze overnight.
The next day we had frozen Easter eggs that were in a giant ice block.
Needless to say, the kids were very excited!
Step 4: Our family used spoons to break the ice and hunt for prizes.
After about an hour the kids wanted to take it outside and break it open. I told them to go for it!
They had a blast smashing the rest of the ice block on the ground. After that, they wanted to play the Easter tag game! It is so fun!
