With Christmas right around the corner, we want to give you the Best Kid Advent Calendars!
As a matter of fact, I will show you which calendars were my son and daughter’s pick too!
Best Kid Advent Calendars
This year, my family and I purposely were a little extra thrifty when it came to Halloween costumes.
The reason behind it was that each one of my older children wanted to get their own advent calendar this year.
If you love those countdowns like my kiddos and I do. We understand each other. 🙂
With that said, I made a mom deal.
I told them if they choose a costume that was under $10, on sale, or from Once Upon a Child. They would earn their own advent calendar.
Do you think it worked?
It did! YAY! Both of my daughter’s found a costume for $4.50 each at Once Upon a Child.
A secondhand store that still sells nice kid’s clothing! I brought them home washed them up and they were good as new.
My youngest son who is 1. We found an adorable little alligator costume at Once Upon a child too.
My oldest son we first found a Superman costume at Ollies (for $3.00 crazy right?) but he wasn’t sold on it.
I have to admit he wasn’t with us, he was at school that day, lol but we ended up finding him a deal at Target.
I love that new Target Circle. We got 50% off his costume!🙌
Anyways… the point of the story is that by saving money at Halloween they each got to pick out their own advent calendar for Christmas.
My kids were very excited!
Plus, it’s such a fun family tradition to start! If you are an Elf on the Shelf fan?
Adding in an advent calendar can be just as fun.
