- My friend Erika said, “She still loves my veggie pizza!” That was very sweet. It was from the first Thanksgiving my husband and I ever hosted. The unit was getting ready to deploy to Iraq and we had invited my husband’s team (24 soldiers and their families) over to our small apartment in Germany. We wanted to make it special and cooked a ton of food. My veggie pizza was a hit!
I hope you enjoyed these helpful Thanksgiving side dishes. If you have any to add please feel free to leave them in the comments.
Green bean casserole would be a great side dish! I do love cranberries with my Thanksgiving meal.
Yes! Green bean casserole is soooo good! I love putting the crispy fried onions on top. Yum! 🙂
Green bean casserole is a must at our yearly Thanksgiving meals. My family enjoy homemade creamed corn, sweet potato casserole, and my mom makes the most delicious cranberry jello salad. Thanks for the great side dish ideas!

My favorite sides are stuffing, veggies, salad, and green bean casserole! I’m not sure we would ever have veggie pizza (but my kids would love that)
Veggie pizza is so good! It’s baked croissant rolls topped with a sauce, fresh veggies that are not cooked, black & green olives and topped with cheese. It’s really good and always a hit at our get-togethers.
This looks really good. I was looking for some different side dishes for Thanksgiving and this would be perfect.
Oh Yay! I’m so glad this could help. 🙂
