The Vampire Party Game
Vampire Fangs is a game where players must unwrap the tree and discover if they’ve found Dracula’s fangs! The players that saw the fangs turn into vampires and the other players that unwrap their tree and don’t find fangs are safe for the moment.
Once the kids turn into vampires (using their pretend imagination and voices), the other safe kids will need to run to safety before being tagged by the new vampires.
If they are tagged, they too will become a vampire.
HOW TO PLAY THE VAMPIRE GAME
First, there will need to be four trees wrapped with red streamers and underneath vampire lips. The host will need to have this done ahead of time to leave a hidden mystery.
Each set of vampire’s lips will need to include fangs or no fangs.
For example, if you are playing with a small group. I recommend having four trees wrapped with red streamers and only one of those trees with hidden vampire fangs.
However, playing with a large group, I recommend doing a couple of the trees with fangs and at least 6-8 trees in total.
At the beginning of the game, all players will be in a circle. Then, when the game host says, “Go,” each player will decide if they will run to tree numbers 1, 2, 3, or 4. It must be a tree with a red-wrapped streamer to count.
After each player has reached a tree, one of the four trees with red streamers, those players will need to rip open the streamer and discover if they found vampire fangs or not.
Suppose the vampire fangs are found, then the players that saw the fangs will turn into vampires.
The players that saw no fangs will be safe for the moment.
However, the children that found the fangs will use their imagination, and everyone will watch as they pretend to turn into vampires.
The other children who are not vampires will be in danger and need to run to safety before being tagged by a vampire.
The vampire game will turn into the classic game tag. It will continue until there is one remaining player that has not been tagged.
Then, that player will be the winner!
Speaking of the winner! We love handing out prizes to the winners of our games. We recommend these fangs for prizes for when they win. Who wouldn’t want glow-in-the-dark plastic fangs with oozing blood (candy)?!
Tips and Advice
I chose red streamers to wrap the tree. However, black streamers may work better to cover up the mystery. I also highly recommend using poster putty to wrap the tree. It didn’t peal any bark off of the trees, and the lips, fangs, and streamers held nicely using it. I hope you have fun playing this easy Halloween game!
