How to Make Glowing Ice Cubes
Have you ever seen glow in the dark ice cubes before? It is really neat and so fun for kids, teens, and adults. To dress up our Halloween drinks, I made the ice glow, and this is how I did it.
How To Make Ice Glow
Now, this is cool stuff. Did you know that you can make Glowing Skull ice? The ice will be fluorescent under a black light, and it only takes one ingredient. How cool is that? This would be a fabulous idea to use in a party drink or a punch bowl at a Halloween party.
What you will need:
Skull Ice Cube Tray (Check Amazon’s price here!)
Let’s start with this is one of the easiest things you’ll ever make in your life! All you need is an icecube tray, Tonic water, and a Blacklight.
First, you will pour the Tonic water into the tray. Just like you’re making regular ice cubes. But remember, the Tonic water must contain Quinine!
After that, you will put the ice cube tray in the freezer and allow it to freeze overnight.
For my Skull Ice cubes, I wanted to make some of the skull cubes red. I wanted to add a spooky feel for a Halloween party.
I think they turned out pretty cool. What do you think?! Especially when it goes from the above picture to the following picture and the difference with using a blacklight.
These glowing ice cubes were a hit! Not to mention they look REALLY cool.
We hope you enjoyed this fun and easy hack!
