Little pumpkin party favors are a fun non-candy treat at a Halloween party! Parents everywhere are trying to figure out something for their children to bring to their fall party at school, and this pumpkin favor works wonders!
How to Make Little Pumpkin Party Favors
An interesting fact about me is I like to make DIY things easy, cheap, and CUTE! For example, this mummy mason jar favor, a styrofoam cup full of googly eyes, and these gigantic bigfoot feet craft!
My kids love handing things out little party favors to their friends when it comes to Halloween, and celebrating is an understatement around here.
That is where these wrappers for non-candy treats are perfect for a Halloween party favor!
Materials Needed
- Play-doh (Check Amazon’s price here!)
- Orange Construction Paper
- Glue or Tape
- Black Marker
First, you will need to cut the orange construction paper to fit the play-doh. I just eyeballed this, and it worked well.
Second, I wrapped the orange paper around and taped it. Another option is to use glue.
Finally, we used a black marker and drew pumpkin faces onto the orange construction paper that I wrapped around the play-doh.
This is how the little pumpkin party favors turned out! Cute right?!
Tip: If you clean out the play-doh jar, you could put candy inside and turn it into mini pumpkin candy holders instead.
I love the fact that the kids can help decorate this craft, and it makes for a great party favor for any of the following:
- Halloween Party
- Pumpkin patch birthday party
- First birthday pumpkin theme
- 1st birthday pumpkin theme
- Plastic pumpkin candy holders
- Backyard pumpkin patch party
- Lil pumpkin birthday party
- Pumpkin painting party
- Non-candy treats for Halloween
