How to Make Pumpkin Crafts
What you’re seeing here is a green hoodie full of DIY pumpkins. What do you do with it you wonder?
You turn it into the Great pumpkin game!
For example, you will designate one child or adult to wear a t-shirt or hoodie full of candy treats or miniature pumpkins.
Tip: I do recommend using a teeshirt verse the hoodie due to the pumpkins staying on easier.
However, we did use a hoodie in this case we wanted to try something different but the tape holds better on the t-shirt material just in case. Therefore, I recommend using a t-shirt instead. 😉
First, all you need to do is grab your orange leftover plastic Easter eggs. If you don’t have any no worries grab some here!
Next, use a black permanent marker and draw pumpkin faces on each of the eggs. This makes a fun craft for the kids too!
Third, you will add a green stem. I personally used this and it worked wonders!
After that, you’ll use packaging tape and place it on the back of your jack o lantern and stick it on the shirt.
Lastly, you’ll allow one player to wear the shirt. That player will receive a head start and begin running in the backyard.
Once you count to ten the other children will chase the child or adult wearing the pumpkin shirt and see how many pumpkins they can grab.
It’s fun stuff! Like this idea… grab another fun crafty one here!
