Pass the Santa Party Game
Before Blitzen, Comet, Cupid, Dancer, Dasher, Donner, Prancer, and Vixen get ready for take-off.
This Santa Claus party game is an easy way to celebrate with the whole family.
All you need is this Santa Musical Doll.
However, if you don’t have one in time for Ssanta comes to town.
Just grab this free DIY printable with a picture of Santa Claus on it!
I just made it in Canva and printed it out and used it for my family game.
The best part is it was easy peasy to do!
With that said, that’s why I wanted to pass it on to you too!
It’s almost like gifting an easy game to play with the whole family!
Passing Santa Claus Game
Generally, Pass the Santa Game is played with guests of 6 or more.
For example, the more players the merrier!
The game is a twist to the classic hot potato game.
Just like in the classic game you’ll keep passing the Santa.
Yet, this time you will want to get caught holding the Santa when the Christmas music stops because then and only then will you win a prize!
The Rules of the Game
First, you will need to do create a circle of people or players.
Next, designate one person to be the host of the game and put them in charge of the timer or boom box!
To keep it fair I would blindfold the host!
Then, while the other players are waiting for the game to start. Ask one player to start off with the Santa in their hands.
After that, ask the players to pass the Santa to the player on the right side of them and each participant will keep passing Saint Nicholas.
The players will continue to pass the Santa until the song Santa Claus is coming to town (or another holiday classic song) stops.
Whichever player is caught holding the man with the white beard will be cheerful.
The player holding the Kris Kringle (Santa) allows that player to win a gift or a prize!
Therefore, before the food gets dished and cookies get served this activity will be fun to play!
