DIY Basketball Carnival Game
If you are a busy mom and want to learn how to make easy games to play in the backyard, for a kid’s birthday party, or at church, scouts, or girl scouts. I am here for you!
It’s just this time we are pulling out our stops for a DIY basketball game.
Just like you, I am constantly on the go. As a mom and foster mom. We are always throwing kid parties.
A Sports party is just a bonus. 🙂
In fact, the nice thing about this DIY Basketball Carnival Game is you can play it any time of the year. You can also play it indoor or outdoor or even create it into a minute to win it game out of it.
First, you will need supplies. We’ve added in a list below that will help you get started. Just a heads up! I bought the basketball hoops at the Dollar Tree. It only cost me a $1 a piece and was such a money saver!
Materials Needed
Large Box
Tape
Basketball Hoops (with basketballs included)
Numbers
After you’ve gathered your supplies. The first thing you will need to do is wrap your large box with chalk paper. Just like in the picture below.
Next, you will add basketball hoops. I personally choose to use three hoops. I didn’t want it to be overcrowded.
Third, I added score points to the top of each hoop. This ranged from 10 points, 50 points, and 100 points.
As a matter of fact, you can score a free number printable here. This will allow you to print out the numbers and add them to your scoreboard easily.
Lastly, get ready to shoot some hoops with this easy DIY Basketball Carnival Game!
