Amazing grilled cheese that's packed with red white and blue. This is seriously the coolest red, white, and blue color themed sandwich I've ever had! Red, White, And Blue Grilled Cheese
The Ingredients You Will Need:
Red and Blue Food Coloring
First, take about a cup of Mozzarella Cheese and add it to a sandwich bag. Next, add red food coloring to the cheese in the sandwich bag and mix together. You could mix the cheese and food coloring in a bowl but I found it to be easier to mix it in a sandwich bag. Do the same thing with the blue food coloring. You will want to keep all colored cheese separated. After that you will apply the cheese to the bread starting with red at the top, then white in the middle, and finally blue on the bottom row.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
- Press the sandwich slightly together and add to pan.
- You will want to cook each side until golden brown and the cheese is melted. This takes about 3-5 minutes.
This will create a delicious melted red, white, and blue themed grilled cheese sandwich.
This Red, White, and Blue Grilled Cheese makes a fun twist on a classic grilled cheese sandwich. This is great for a picnic lunch, dinner, or snack.
