Veterans Day Kid-Friendly Activity
Are you looking for a Veterans Day kid-friendly activity? You have come to the right place.
This is the perfect kid-friendly military activity to do with kids and certainly, a great way to say, “Thank you!” to their favorite soldier.
What you’ll need
Black Construction Paper
White Construction Paper
Crayons
Markers
This is such an adorable craft to do with kids! It is a very touching craft idea. When my son made this for my husband on Veteran’s day.
It really meant a lot to him. My husband was in Afghanistan at the time. He was able to send him a video from the school.
All of the children gathered together to sing a song to their military dad, mom or loved that was deployed overseas while holding this.
We lived on a post that was a military base in Georgia.
Most of the children had service members that were deployed, deploying, or just coming back from a deployment.
This Veterans craft idea meant so much to their parents.
We don’t have a step by step tutorial but we can try and help you put it together. I hope this helps! 🙂
What you’ll need to do is make the soldier first.
Let it dry and set it to the side.
Next print out this Veterans Day poem Veterans Day Printable by Bobbie Norman.
After that glue both the soldier and the printable onto the black piece of construction paper.
Next, you’ll add the boot print and footprint and allow it to dry.
Lastly, after it’s dry hang it up or give it to your favorite Veteran. 🙂
