Creating a Light Up Skirt

What you will need to make the skirt:
- Hot Glue Gun Kit
- Black Duck Tape
- Glow Sticks (Check the price of Light-up Glowstick Bracelets)
- Ballerina Tutu
How far do you space the glow sticks?
I spaced the glow sticks out roughly an inch apart. This gives it a pretty look when it’s all put together. I personally mixed and matched the neon colors but another idea would be to use red, white, and blue for the 4th of July or even your favorite Sports colors theme.
This also beats the cost of glow in the dark fabric and makes great neon tutu skirts for adults!
The two simplest ways I have found to attach them to the skirt are to use this black duck tape or to use a hot glue gun. I used the tape for my daughter’s skirt and it worked really well. It is really easy to make and looks really neat when it’s done.
