Great Lakes Science Center Review
Are you ready to find out about our Great Lakes Science Center Review?! If you’re curious about the experience or getting ready to head out to visit the center yourself you are in for a treat. There are so many cool things to discover!
My family and I had the opportunity to check out the Great Lakes Science Center just a few days ago. Wow is it cool! There are so many things to do and see here. From seeing the World’s largest roll of Duck Tape to the TapeScape Room.
After going to the first level and getting our tickets the first room we stopped in was the NASA Glenn Visitor Center. I really enjoyed reading the information about the Astronauts especially seeing how many are from Ohio. It was neat to see the astronaut suits too. There are even fascinating artifacts to look at such as this Moon Rock. Do you remember my recent post about moon rocks?
Exploring the Science Center
This place is such a fun discovery center, especially for families. There are things to do for the little ones and even grown adults. We had three adults and 4 children (ranging in ages from 12 months to 59) in our crew that day. Each one of us had so much fun exploring the science center. I myself enjoyed stopping by the Gift shop too. I liked that there was a variety of fun treats, t-shirts, and souvenirs to shop for. We picked up Astronaut ice cream to try out!
TapeScape Room
Have you heard about the TapeScape Room yet? This is a MUST SEE! There is a whole playroom built out of tape for kids and adults alike. This room includes a slide, tunnels, and areas for kids and adults to climb around. It is so cool! My kids kept asking if they could go down the slide again and again, lol. It is such a neat experience for the entire family! When you see this it is hard to believe this is actually tape! Let me tell you it really is tape and it is crazy how sturdy this whole structure really is. The best part is if you forget your socks, don’t worry! There are baskets where you can find clean socks to use and another basket to place the dirty socks in when you’re finished.
Tip: If your little one is too scared to go down the slide they will not be left out of the fun. There are areas behind the main play area for kids (or adults) to climb through that may be easier.
If you want to check out something different in the Cleveland, Ohio area and an experience that is fun for the whole family, look no further. You’ll want to check out the Great Lakes Science Center! It’s an unforgettable experience! I can’t wait to go back!
