DIY Recycled Snowman Craft
In fact, with the holidays blending together you’ll want to check first to see if you have any of these supplies on hand or lying around.
- Trick or Treat Pumpkins
- Old Scarves
- Spray/Craft Paint
- Snowman hat
- Unused ornaments
First, for your convenience, I link to them in the pictures below. Perhaps if you can’t find a snowman hat or need to pick up some extra hot glue this will hopefully help. 🙂
White Spray Paint
This will be needed to spray the pumpkins to make the Snowman's body.
Christmas Glitter Snowflake Ornaments
It looks really cool glued to the hat!
Creative Snowman Craft Idea
First, what you will need to do is remove the handles of the plastic pumpkins.
Second, you’ll want to spray each pumpkin pail white.
Keep in mind this may take a couple of coats before you’ll achieve the shade of white you’re looking for.
Third, after the pumpkin pails are completely dry.
Take one of the white pails and paint the snowman’s face on to it.
You will need orange to paint the carrot-nose, black dots for eyes, mouth, and buttons, pink for the cheeks, and white craft paint for the eyes.
After that, use the second white pail to paint three black buttons onto it.
Then, add weight to the third plastic pail to keep it steady.
For example, using a small brick or rocks will do the trick.
After that, you will glue the three white pails together creating the snowman.
When it comes to the middle white pail.
You will want to add branches that have ends that look like hands.
As a matter of fact, put them in the holes where the handle had been removed.
It will be easier to glue them in.
In like manner, you can add any kind of decor to the branches of the snowman.
Including but not limited to mittens, snowflakes, or birds, the possibilities are endless.
Equally important, the snowman’s hat the same thing.
Perhaps, adding an ornament or other holiday decor items will bring out even more festive fun.
Lastly, you will need to glue the top hat to the snowman. As well as gluing the scarf.
The nice thing is this DIY Recycled Snowman Craft Project!
Will work for all sorts of crafts including but not limited to, Christmas Snowman Crafts, Snowman ideas, and unique snowman crafts.
