Awesome Birthday Traditions For Adults
Adult fun… Just because the older we get, the harder it is to add candles to the cake. 😛 This doesn’t mean we should forget about awesome birthday traditions that can be used for adults! There are so many cool, fun, and creative things you can do to help celebrate an adult birthday.
Birthday Wake Up
A really cool birthday tradition is to wake them up with a cupcake, cake, or a donut that has a birthday candle in it. This creates a fun birthday wake up! 
Another idea→Have you ever heard of My Favorite Birthday Cake Pancake & Waffle Mix? This is made with pancake mix and confetti sprinkles. It works really well in waffle makers too. People rave about it and it’s perfect for that morning breakfast or a replacement if they’re not a huge fan of cake. ?
Trail of Beer
If they love beer… You could put a trail of unopened beer bottles leading from the bedroom to the living room. This will put a spin on your traditional adult birthday boy’s day! Another idea my husband loved was when he turned 30, I created the number “thirty” out of beer from around the world.
Decorate
Each one of my family member’s birthdays I make a point to decorate in a unique and fun way. I buy new birthday banners and sometimes create my own. When it comes to my husband it is a little harder to find decorations that will appeal to him. That’s until I found these adult birthday decorations or these birthday decorations. When it comes to my birthday or if I were looking for birthday decor for my girlfriend… I would pick this all in one birthday decorations pack! ♥
Birthday Month
If you can’t spend your special day with all the people you love in one month. For example, work, work, work… did I say work? Obviously, it is a lot harder to spend your special day with all the people you love when you’re older, due to conflicting schedules. Plan a tradition to spend the entire month celebrating your birthday. Some people may find this obnoxious but it’s your birthday. You do you! 😉
Sparklers
When singing the traditional “Happy Birthday” song. Pass out sparklers for all of the guests. This will make for a special moment and awesome pictures for Snapchat.
Personalized
If you’re looking for a creative gift and new awesome adult birthday tradition to start. This may be just the one… Create a list of all the special people in your husband’s life. For example, mom, dad, brothers, sisters, Grandma, his best friend Joe, his co-workers Tom and Hank, and any other special people you know in his life. The next time you see any of them try to get them aside (without the birthday recipient knowing) and ask them for a 15-second video clip of them saying something special for the birthday guy. It could be sweet, funny, but make it personal. After you collect the videos put them together to make a creative and personal message for the birthday boy. This will mean A LOT. An awesome new tradition to start. It doesn’t always have to be a video, it could be a letter, text messages printed out on a board, or any other messages you feel will lift his spirits.
