How To Make DIY Moon Rocks
A quick tutorial on making really cool moon rocks. It’s fun and easy to do!
What you will need to make the moon rocks is aluminum foil, plastic leftover Easter eggs or plastic containers like soft clear capsules.
You can find those here!
The really nice thing about the plastic clear capsules is you can feel good about using them at any time of the year.
For any party some examples include the following:
- School PTO Party Favors
- Science Parties
- Mad Science Party
- Science Activities for Kids
- Weird Science
What you will need to do is add a party favor, trinket, miniature toy, or a candy prize to the capsule.
As a matter of fact, these rock bouncing balls will be perfect!
The second thing you’ll do is wrap the capsule in aluminum foil.
This will create a moon rock-shaped form.
You can choose to create this however you wish. I made my shapes more circular.
Depending on the size of the group that will be playing will determine the number of rocks you make.
Generally, for some good fun, you will want to make around 3-5 moon rocks per player.
