Bloggy Con Review
I recently got back from my first Blogging Conference.
I wasn’t sure what to expect and that’s why I want to bring you my Bloggy Con Review!
It is also known as Bloggy Moms. A Conference for bloggers held in Sandusky, Ohio steps away from Cedar Point.

Since I’ve asked my husband to go over my blog posts (editing etc.) it was important for me to have him attend the conference with me.
I was unsure at first if he was allowed to go because I thought it was geared mostly towards women.
Which yes, it is centered more for women, however, there are men that attend as well.
The reason I wanted my husband to go is that I wanted him and me both to learn more about SEO.
That was important to my blog which is imperative to my business.
The second reason was to give you more insight into this Bloggy Con Review!
The SEO classes that we attended was with an instructor named Claudia.
Claudia held two sessions the first session was for beginner SEO and her second session was for Advanced SEO.
The first session really benefited my husband and he was able to learn the basics. The second part was more beneficial to me because I knew most of the general basics of SEO.
Know Before You Go Bloggy Con Review
If you’re curious a little more about the itinerary. I will be happy to share more information about that.
First, Friday evening we checked in around 5:30.
The lines were not too bad. We waited about 10 minutes to check-in.
After that, we went straight over to register for the conference.
Upon registration, for Bloggy Con, we received 3 free day passes to Cedar Point and two $25 gift cards for the park.
We also received a Thirty One bag filled with brochures and things to do in the area.
This was awesome because not only was it my husband’s birthday but we got to take advantage of discounts and walking to Cedar Point within just a few steps from the hotel.
After registration, you get the rest of the day with family.
Saturday was a full packed day of learning from the mentors.
With that, you gain a lot of fantastic information that can help you grow your blogging business.
Something I really liked is that at this conference the instructors give you time to personally come up and ask questions as well.
Sunday morning we finished off the classes by 12 and the rest of the day is family time at Cedar Point.
Take Away from Bloggy Con
I personally highly enjoyed myself at this Conference.
It was both my husband and I’s first time going to any blogging conference.
We both had a very nice time. My favorite parts were learning tips and tricks to apply to my blog, going to Cedar Point, and meeting fellow bloggers Bobby and Wendi.
Feeling nervous about joining your first conference?
I highly recommend going to one! Who knows…Maybe I’ll see you there? 🙂
