5 Ways To Save Money For A Disney Trip
One of my favorite things to do is take my children to Disney. Unfortunately, as most of us know Disney is not the cheapest place to go. That is why my husband and I created a Disney Fund with our kids. We challenged ourselves to make enough money this year to take our children to the Mickey Mouse Not So Scary party at the Magic Kingdom at Disney World. The catch was we had to do this by saving and making the money for our trip. Here are the 5 best ways we have saved money for our Disney Trip.

#1 One of our top money makers for our Disney trip has been my children’s art pictures. My children have created picture drawings and also colored pages out of Disney Coloring books that you can find here. For example, near my in-law’s house, there is a park that hosts a baby garage sale twice a year. Lots of families from around the area gather together to sell used clothes, baby, and kid-friendly items. We took this opportunity to sell items but also our children created art pictures and colored the Disney coloring pages and sold them to customers for $1 a piece. This was a money-maker! I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was a hit! Talk about the excitement in our children it was pretty cool to see and an awesome way for them to learn how to save for something they really want to do.
#2 Started a Blog: You can actually make money from starting a blog (seriously! crazy right?!) and the best part is you can write about whatever you want! If you love Disney, write about it. If you want to talk about the adventures with your kids, you can, and earn money! I can show you how to start a blog today right here.
#3 ibotta: I can’t say this enough ibotta is a simple app that you can place on your phone and after you go grocery shopping you pull it up, scan the receipt and you’re on your way to cash back savings!!! #4 eBay: This is one of my biggest money makers for our Disney trip. For example, just last week I sold my husband’s old coat for $149.99 and a clothes lot for $29.99. I highly recommend using eBay to make extra cash and to save for your Disney Trip.
#5 Care.com The nice thing about care.com is that you don’t have to be a full-time employee. There are many jobs available for full-time but you can also do part-time care for babysitting, taking care of Seniors, house sitting and or pet sitting. If you’re interested in giving this a try go through this link it will save you 20%. 😉
