25 Ways to Spend Time With your Family
1. Selfies
Visit a new area and take Selfies! You may want to take along photo props or a selfie stick for added fun.
2. Jam Session
Watch Dad Rock out to his favorite song! Another idea would be to have a jam session with your favorite instruments or songs that you can dance to outside in the garage or in your living room. ← LOVE THIS! 3. Popcorn and a Movie
Grab some popcorn or munchies and put on a family fun movie to watch!
4. ATTENTION
Spend time doing something your kid is into. Take pictures of them skateboarding, skateboard with them, GET involved. Paying attention to their hobbies/activities will mean more to them than spending money.
5.Go Camping! If it’s too cold for camping you could camp out in the living room! Make a Tent →The kids love it!!! 😀
6. Go, Bowling.
7. BINGO
BINGO! I love to pick up small items and wrap them up and let the kids pick a prize! Now, depending on the type of budget, you want to spend for your prize bag. Here are a few ideas I suggest… if you want to find things such as; small cars, toys, jewelry, trinkets check garage sales. I find things for 10 cents that’s in great condition. The kids usually only play with it for 20 minutes. 😉 another place to find prizes would be the Dollar Tree, you could make things yourself or buy from a store you like.

8. Pie Face Showdown
Another really fun game for family night would be Pie Face Showdown Game. ←FUN GAME. 😉
9. Ice Cream
Go out for ice cream. We recently tried Sweet Frog and it was a lot of fun. The kids each got to pick out their own ice-cream and toppings (I highly suggest making sure you observe them as you have to pay for the weight of the ice-cream/toppings and it can get expensive.) Luckily, we knew ahead of time but a friend of mine wasn’t as fortunate and her daughter ended up costing her a lot of money for her ice-cream. 😉
10. Fair
Go to the Fair! This is something the whole family can enjoy. See the pig races, have the kids create a pumpkin painting, walk through the Livestock, buy from your local crafters/vendors, go on the rides, get face paint, and go to the circus.
11. Praise and Worship
Join in Church Activities. 🙂 There is nothing like the feeling of singing praise to God and allowing yourself to live through the music.
12. Swimming
Join a YMCA ♦Maybe the kids could take Swimming Lessons there?♦
13. Go See Grandma & Grandpa
Take breakfast or lunch to Grandma and Grandpa’s or make a special trip. This would mean more to them than you know.
14. Go for a walk, run, or bike ride.
Go to the park, venture out to a new place, or go somewhere familiar. Just being able to spend time together going for a walk, run, or bike ride will create new memories to share.
15. Re-create Old Family Photos.
16. Go to the Dollar Tree and let the kids pick out fun items.
17. Create a fun meal to eat picnic style on the living room floor (lights off) just use flashlights or candles for light.

19. Soccer or Dodge Ball ←This is a huge hit!
My son loves to play Dodge Ball. I think this is one of his most favorite things to do. He’s got skills… he must get them from his mama. :-P hehe 😀

23. Dolphins
Feed the Dolphins and if you don’t have dolphins in your area. Research what sort of animals are in your area and take the kids. This would be a learning experience for everyone and a great family fun activity.
24. Do a craft together!
Creating a project is a great way to have fun doing a family activity together. You can use craft items you already have at home or take advantage of the coupons Michaels and Hobby Lobby put out in the paper printable from their website, or show them on your cell phone to the cashier.
25. Planes
Watch the planes land at the Airport. My husband is going to school to be a pilot. One of our favorite things to do is take the kids to get ice cream and then go to the airport, sit in the grass and watch the planes take off and land.
